System Features

TEE SHEET CONTROL

User defined settings for play bands.

·         Start and finish time for each band (several are permitted on any day).

·         Max & Min balls permitted.

·         Tee-Off Intervals – alternating times permitted.

·         Expected time per hole (tee sheet can be viewed from any tee position)

·         Players are automatically prevented from booking more than once every four hours.

User defined booking bands for user defined groups.

·          Define your booking groups – e.g. member, visitor, 5 day member etc.

·          Set permitted booking times on any day for specified booking groups.

·          Set which tees a booking group is allowed to book from.

·          Set whether 9 hole bookings are permitted for any booking group.

·          Set green fees for booking group and their guests.

·          Set how many guest allowed for each booking group.

·          Set number of slots per group, e.g. 1in 2 starting at 1 etc.

Administrator’s functions

·         Record details of all players in a booking.

·         Optionally record all players, other the first, as unspecified.

·         See green fees before confirming booking with optional override.

·         Optionally override play band standard time allowed for play.

·         Easily move a booking to a different time.

·         View the tee sheet from any tee number

·         Optionally show when tee- times will clash when bookings made from other tees.

·         Schedule a shot gun start.

·         Easily add or remove a player from a booking.

·         Record multiple bookings in the same tee time (for making up 4 balls etc)

·         Record buuggies and/or electric trolleys for any tee time

·         Record no-shows by player in any booking.

·         Reserve tee-times as a block booking for societies, competitions etc.

·         Book individuals into a block booking.

·         Record a comment for any booking.

·         Print out the tee sheet from any tee number with full data.

·         Record a Bulletin for any day’s play – e.g. No trolleys today

·         Optionally permit visitors to access and book tee-times.

·         Specify data required for direct visitor bookings.

·         Specify no-show fees as a fixed fee or percentage of green fee.

·         Take credit card details for visitors using industry standard secure server. (payment normally taken when they turn up – credit card details retrieved when no show fee needs to be charged)

 

MEMBER  MANAGEMENT

Track how players use your course with Counters.

·         System Logins.

·         Rounds Booked.

·         Rounds Played.

·         Guest rounds (who has brought guests).

·         Booked as a guest (who has been brought as a guest).

·         Users added –e.g. members adding visitors.

·         Cancellations.

·         No Shows.

 

Automatically send waning messages for thresholds exceeded on any counter. eg booked as guest more than a set number of times.

Filter and message any selection of users.

·         Select on any field on a just a few characters.

·         Select on a combination of fields – eg visitors played more than x times.

·         or all juniors, seniors, country members etc.

·         Export results in CSV format for use in other programs.

·         Send email and /or internal message to your selections.

USER FEATURES

·         Simple graphical interface to see available Tee Times

·         Easy click to book a Tee-Time.

·       Amend own bookings and your presence in other bookings.

·       Optional 'Open Booking' where you allow others to add themselves (for Roll-ups etc.).

Management Statistics.

                   Specify the date range-  

                         there is a range of standard reports with output in Excel for  your further use.

·        Totals (Bookings, Green fees etc)  by hour, day, week, month, total date range.

·        For all courses or by each course

·        By each ‘booking group’, and  total for all players

·        By number of holes booked.

 

There are also custom reports with  table output and you can also analyse player rankings by several parameters including number of no-shows, number of  guests introduced, how many times they have played as a guest  etc. ( as per the member management counters listed above)

The system is wonderfully simple to manage and backed by excellent support from Knottronix. - I would certainly recommend it to any club secretary contemplating  a tee booking system.

Burnham and Berrow Golf Club members were using a manual starting sheet which meant that they had to either come into the Clubhouse or ring the Pro Shop to reserve a tee time. The introduction of the Internet booking system  by Knottronix Ltd has totally transformed this situation and our members are now making bookings from home, the office or even whilst on holiday and thinking about their next game in the UK!
